Hi pals. I hope you're doin well! Just wanted to write an update post as I've still cruisin on the high of the Piconjo collab stuff. I wanted to give ya an update of what I've been up to, what I'm planning, and what I wanna do. This past week I've made it a goal for myself to just chill out, I haven't really done that since the beginning of the year. If you look at my activity, you'll see I've posted more music in this past 5 months than I did all of last year so I think I needed this little break. In fact I will be chilling a little more as I think I need to do that more in general. Uploads are gonna slow down here in the coming months unless I have more OSTs to do, but there's another reason for that.

I'm happy to say that I'm starting work + planning on my next album. I want this to be somethin real special so I'm gonna take my time with it, maybe ask some pals to feature+play on it like I did with the Piconjo stuff too. It'll be a good time for sure. I'm currently applying to some music jobs now that things are opening back up again, got my first response back this week (a rejection) but I figured as such considering how dead it's been the past year. I plan to stream more of me doin music stuff and gaming like a pro on my Twitch. Be sure to follow me there. I'll be on a certain newgrounds related podcast in the coming weeks, be sure to look out for that announcement soon.

I want to stress that I will still be uploading stuff here, I just won't be uploading as much because of the album work and job finding etc. I'll still be working away on OSTs and lil mini tunes and whatnot. Speaking of OSTs, if you'd like a tune or 80 for your Newgrounds game, send me a message I'd love to see if I can help in any way!

Hi pals, I'm sure some of you know that I've been working on a Pico Day project in the form of a soundtrack for a Piconjo game. I'll be releasing said soundtrack on Pico Day but I decided it would be best to show off the tune I had that really celebrated Pico Day to the fullest. I present to you: Regurgitated x2!

Hi pals! Wanted to give a little update post for ya eyes.

I've been hard at work on various projects, two of which I'd like to... announce? Say words about?

Well, I've been working with the wonderful @ProsciuttoMan on two fun projects! One of which is T.O.F.U, a game about death! I'll be releasing the OST to that each week until it releases in the near future! The other is a Piconjo game! We're aiming for it to drop on Pico Day! It's gonna be dooooope! You can check out his page for more info on the game. As for other music and projects, they're comin along! I can't disclose tooooo much yet because I am a keeper of secrets. One personal project I've been working on is a celebration for 500 NG fans, but it turns out that we've almost hit 600 soooooo make it a 600 fan celebration. I really appreciate the huge support over the last couple of weeks. It's insane and I cherish every single one of you!!!

Now for some real shit. I've been having some big anxiety issues over the past couple of months, I have found a big contributor to that is social media. Because of this, I am cutting them out of my life and only will delegate 10-15 minutes of each day to social media (if any time at all). I have deleted them all off my phone and I have been doing it for the past day and I have found myself already improving. This week I released two tunes, as well as hit 500 fans on Newgrounds (Woah)!! Thank you all for the incredible support this past month, we literally just hit 400 like 2 weeks ago. I appreciate everyone for the absolutely crazy support!

Hi friends!! Just wanted to write a news post regarding this month's music! I have two more pixel day themed tunes to upload, and some more tunes from other projects I'd like to upload this month. With that being said, I'd like to move Pleochroism's release to late February/March! This is so my upload schedule isn't super clogged with a bunch of tunes all at once.

Speakin' of uploads, I took out the ol' Trumpet/Flugelhorn for a tune with @MisterJamesss coming out within the next week for (potential) use in the Evangelion Collab organized by the wonderful @Wandaboy and @Magibauble.

On top of that, I've got 2 more pixel day tunes coming up, one should be up next Friday and then the final tune the day after.

Hi pals! I come to you bearing a treasure trove of information regarding new tunes, goals for 2021, and just a whole bunch of other neat things!

Here are my goals for this year:

Upload consistently and be more active now that I have finished college

Reach 750 Fans on here

Learn new instruments (Saxophone, Guitar, Bass)

Work with more people on different projects like games and movies/animation

2020 was an incredible year of growth, I'd like to thank @TomFulp for being the super amazing dude that he is for giving smaller artists and creators a spotlight earlier in the year. Without that, I don't think Alexandrite would not have been seen nearly as much if it wasn't for him and the incredible Audio Portal mods.

Onto what to expect this month:

This month I have a bunch of stuff cooking! I have an album releasing at the end of January which you will hear some more of mid-January, as well as 3 new tunes for this year's Pixel Day! One of which I just uploaded today:

Pixel Day has allowed me to go outside my comfort zone and restrict myself to a certain sound/synth style. I have found it to be pretty fun! If you're looking for music for Pixel Day specific to your project, I'd love to make you a custom tune/OST for it! Just send me a DM my way!

I am working on a couple of game OSTs at the moment for Newgrounds pals... you may see them in due time! I've also got a couple of music collaborations that you may see this month as well, so keep your eyes peeled!

Merry Post-Christmas but pre-New Years everybody! I'd like to share an instrumental from my upcoming album! Here is the title track Pleochroism! It is a spacey synthwave track with some killer guitar layering from my pal Dr. Ted! The album will have the instrumentals as bonus tracks, although I will be uploading them here for all to hear!
