Hey y'all! Back again with another update post! I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you for the incredible support on Luciid! I'm very happy to get another tune on the 10k club! I was not at all expecting the support and I can't state in words my appreciation! Speaking of Luciid, it actually is featured in a game from a recent game jam called Tape Tapers! You should check it out if you have the resources to do so! It's a cute lil game!

Also, progress on the album is going great! I'm finished with the rhythm section and am currently in the final phase of recording (doin' the horns and vocals) and then I'll be onto the electronic tunes and mixing/mastering! The album will probably be done by the first week of April! It won't release until the 6th of May however!

You're probably wondering where the next weekly vibe is, and it's been delayed a little! I wanted to record vocals for it but I'm currently waiting on a pair of headphones in shipping! They'll be around soon (I hope)!

Hi y'all! I've been wanting to write this post for almost 2 weeks now! The reason why I couldn't was that I got really, really sick last Thursday and have been bed ridden since. Yesterday and today were the first days I've felt better, so I am quite glad that I'm able to get back to work!

Up until last weekend, I've been working constantly on my album and other music stuff! The illness kinda killed the momentum a little but that's okay! I still was able to upload a vibe to here, although I didn't have the ability to do much else. I kinda just slept a lot of it off! So if you were wondering why I was abnormally silent, that's why! Now that I'm slowly getting back to my regular schedule, I've got some news to report about the album! Drums are now complete! I'm now moving on to the other rhythm parts which will probably be finished by the end of next week. I will then move on to horns and vocals (the hard part O_O). Here's a lil video of us in session (that's me talkin' to the crew) There were like eight people in the session playing and vibing together... it was pretty dope.

Hi y'all! Yesterday was the first recording session for the album and drums are almost completely recorded! There were some technical hiccups during the session, mostly from the streaming, and I'd like to see if there are other platforms to stream the progress on. I don't think Twitch is quite the platform for something like this so I'm thinking about exploring different platforms for this. I'm currently leaning towards instagram live but I'm not sure yet! We'll see! If y'all have any ideas lemme know! The next sessions (and streams..?) are gonna be this Friday and Sunday (1/24, and 1/26)! I hope y'all can tune in on whatever platform I decide on! (I'll probably make a post about it)

This semester has been suuuuper busy for a number of reasons, so other streams like the variety streams are going to be cancelled until probably after I graduate. It sucks but I gotta do what I gotta do to get this album done! (Don't worry, the studio streams will still continue!)

Hi y'all!

I'm back again with a weekly vibe! This one was a bit difficult to get out, I was a bit busy with school and work so I had limited time to make somethin. Not only that, but everything I made just didn't sit right with me, so I've got a whole bunch of stuff just kinda sitting in my pocket. For some more positive news, I am going to be IRL streaming the studio sessions for my next album on 1/19 and 1/24, you should tune in if you want!

Speaking of the album, lemme take a moment to talk to y'all about it! This album is going to be a transition to my new style, which I will be using exclusively for my commercial releases from this point forward. It's more Mo-Town and Fusion influenced, and features live recorded instruments rather than synth patches. There ARE synth patches, just... not as many as the usual. I'd estimate a 60/40 split between real to MIDI instruments. It might be a little polarizing to some, but I hope that you enjoy it regardless! I'm sure you've noticed already, but sticking to one genre just isn't quite my thing. I like to kinda dooooo whatever I feel like!... or I'll just mash genres together (or attempt to).

I wish to collaborate with more people on here, so if you're interested in writing together or if you just want me to play trumpet on somethin, don't be afraid to ask! Hi!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank y'all for the absolutely incredible support the past month. I've got some great news to report!

1. Aurora Beam has hit 10k! It's absolutely wild that this got as popular as it did! It has become my most popular tune and the only thing I can say to y'all is thank you!!
2. My proposal for studio use for the next album has been approved! This means I'm going to be beginning work on it 1/19! I might be streaming progress on it, I'm not 100% sure yet. I'll let y'all know if I do!
3. A good pal of mine, @Cacola, released an absolutely incredible mashup album! You should do yourself a favor and give it a listen! << link here!
4. *EDIT* Weather Update: The Newgrounds lords have blessed me with a frontpage for Homely! I am incredibly grateful! Hopefully it'll act as both a platform for others to do a 1 beat a week challenge! It's been great for my abilities as a composer/producer to just sit down and write!

Hi y'all! As my new year's resolution continues, more roadblocks like to show up! My laptop of almost 10 years feels like it's dying on me! So getting this one out was a bit of a juggling challenge! I think I have delayed the inevitable for now but this things probably gonna die soon :( that angst can be heard in this new piece too! Funnily enough..

Other than that though, this weeks been pretty crazy in terms of things that are happening! Firstly, I've gotten myself a bass and am learning how to play it! It's... going ;) Secondly, I'd like to thank y'all for the crazy support I've been getting the past few weeks on both here and twitch! It's because of y'all that I can't wait to get home and write~!
