I like the tune, it's quite nice! I do notice those audio mixing things you were talking about! The kick drum seems a bit distorted from :31-50, but your mixing from :50 to the minute mark is really good! Whatever you did there, you should apply to the rest of the piece! I notice at 1:01 to 1:20 there are dips in the audio where the kick may go, I'm not too sure how this is happening but I imagine it has to do with a kick you are using at that point. You'll get better as time passes! I remember my first mix, I can't even go back and listen to it LMAO! Keep at it! This is a great starting point for 2020! Cheers friend!

thanks for your feedback. i don't usually try to do much mixing in my tracks, but i'm glad i got feedback for this attempt.
the distortion problems around 31-50 seconds could probably be fixed by using a different kick drum.
the audio dipping you were mentioning was actually supposed to be part of the mix and has nothing to do with the kick used. a kick isn't supposed to go there. i wasn't sure if that mixing decision would be effective or not, but most of my songs are heavily experimental anyways.

I really like this beat! The synths are really nice! Careful of your volume! Your compressor is workin really hard and I can hear some distortion due to it working so hard! I'd suggest just turning down the gain on the master should fix the distortion issue! Good stuff otherwise!

I love how high quality your synth patches are! They are a treat to the ears! Great piece, loved the ambiance to it all!

Your production style is really unique! I really like that, it's quite refreshing to the ears! Your chord choices are really nice too, your choice of where to put more of the tense chords and then releasing that tension is really nice! The vocaloid is hit or miss for me. I like the texture it provides but I think it stands out a little too much in the mix. Maybe if you brought it down a little it may be a little less polarizing to the ears. Other than that, really great stuff! Great tune!

What a catchy bop! I like this a lot! It is a little quiet though, I suggest just bumping up the master a couple dB if you want! Up to you! Regardless, this is fun! Good stuff!

Thanks for your comment :) and yes I experimented with boosting the volume a bit but sometimes i got really distorted or glitchy results from it so that is why this one is a bit quiet. Also youtube seems to lower the volume whenever I go over a certain value and I don't really know what's up with that. Anyway thanks for the positivity :D
