Iiiii've been quite a busy bee this summer, which I'm sure you've noticed (or not) due to the lack of posting and updates.

Lemme tell you what I've been up to!

This summer I've been working at this venue directing live streams and/or doing sound for either the stream or in front of house! On top of that, I also toured with a band as their sound engineer around the Northeast! It was quite an eventful summer!

You're probably wondering about my music things...

Well! I've gotcha covered! I've also been working on my senior capstone for school! This capstone just also happens to be another full-length album! How neat! The date to look out for is sometime June 2020!

Fair warning though, the sound of this album is unlike what you've heard from me yet, (It's a whole bunch of genres) so just be ready for something completely different from me!

I'm working on budgeting time for more activity on here or twitch or SOMEWHERE, so stay tuned for that ;)

I'm just making another post to say that my next album is in the demo stage, and expect frequent weekly updates on progress! I won't be posting the title or track details but I can tell you the genre. It's... music! I have a lot planned, and the theme of the album is reflection and self improvement. With that being said, change will be a constant element throughout the album and styles will be all over! Expect some Fusion, Hip-Hop, and other forms of Jazz and electronic based music. It's not really... techno or anything like I've released up to this point. There's a focus on real instruments and live performance/expression, so you'll get to hear me sing and play trumpet and whatnot! To give you a VERY ROUGH idea of what this'll sound like, you can check out my demo from Focus Mode which you can find here. I can give you a date too! Since I'll be premiering it as my senior capstone project, I can tell you for sure when all of y'all can hear it! It'll be released on streaming and whatnot on June 16th, 2020.

I'm not dead! Just really busy with life!

I'm finally done with school, this semester was a bear but I got through it!

I'm doin a bunch of writing for my senior project (which is an album that is gonna be on the DL sorry) and I've been working on this Orchestra piece. I plan to have it done and sent to some composition contests. I had my orchestra read an unfinished version and it sounded pretty great! Gonna keep on it! I have a new found respect for those who orchestrate, that shit takes some PATIENCE. Other than that, I plan on having my summer be primarily music based, I'm gonna be interning in Caffe Lena out in Saratoga which'll be nice, and I'll be doing some freelance recording and whatnot to make sure I can eat. That being said, if you've got any sort of music in which you need mixed, lemme know! I work in Pro Tools and would love to help!

One problem I've had with this release is that they botched a bit of the album information on Spotify. I'm trying to figure out ways to fix these problems but if anyone else has some ideas I'll take those as well.

Relaunching the YouTube channel!

Hey all, after months of not uploading, I'm finally coming back with frequent uploads!

I'll be uploading Monday, Wednesday, Fridays with the occasional gaming video during the weekend!

I plan on uploading some music exclusively there (although I wouldn't worry, it's most likely just going to be VG remixes)

Hi! I'm excited to say that I'm *really* back! Now that this album stuff is done, I'm no loner confined to working/releasing just Topaz stuff! With that being said, I'm going to be more active in posting new content due to this workload being lessened. School will take time still, but I've scheduled time specifically for making Newgrounds stuff! I plan on releasing content weekly and look and reivew new material by others! As for new content, here are two songs I posted this week:

This is a followup to the popular Gawd Fonk (which can be found here:).  It's more upbeat in nature, and features a dope lil bassline. That's about as much info I'm willing to give on that!

This is a piece that I recorded with live input. I've been recording audio for the past 4 years but I've never thought about recording MIDI. Quite odd really. This piece is more atmospheric in nature and reminds me of a snowy mountain top. Not a crazy windy one, but a light breeze with some snow in the morning. Give it a listen and tell me what you think it reminds you of!

Gonna be releasing Topaz on March 1st. I'm excited, I hope you are as well. 

It's gonna be my last album till spring of 2020 so I hope it'll last till then. 

Don't worry, I've made up my mind about writing. I still will. This album was creatively draining for me. 

It'll be free on here and bandcamp, but it'll also be on Spotify, Apple Music etc.
